Many of you have asked .... but it wasn't until my Gen-Y, tech-loving, skinny-jean-wearing cousin said at breakfast today, "So, what does Dh stand for anyway?" that I figured it was time to set the record straight.
Just for giggles (and no I won't give up names!), here's what some of you thought it stood for:
- Designated Hitter
- Desperate Housewife
- Dog House
- Dirty Harry
- Die Hard
- Dork Head (or I'm sure you can think of another "D" word -- think nickname for Robert -- that's a bit more tawdry)
- DUH (just spelled wrong)
I had a good laugh with all of these, but the real meaning is
DARLING HUSBAND!
Because I do think he's rather sweet and charming .... most of the time!
