Bub and Fin got their first haircuts today!
I'm glad we went someplace where they don't mind screaming children, cause Fin wasn't exactly excited about sitting in the light pink Grease-inspired cadillac, or the yellow Hummer, or the purple motorcycle, or the red rocket ship, or the yellow jeep. She wasn't a big fan of the cape or scissors either, even if she was in the protection of Dad's lap by that time. But after a few tears (ok, maybe more than a few) and a surprise visit by Pops, we can finally see her beautiful blue eyes again.

What a CUTIE pie!
It was Bub's turn next and he went right for the yellow Hummer. But as we soon found out, he was much more interested in climbing out than staying in. Mom eventually had to offer up her lap as well, which I was reassured is not at all uncommon at their age. After that he did pretty good, besides turning his head (on more than one occasion!) at the exact moment the stylist went for a cut. Unlike his sis, the TV, bubbles, and blow dryer were enough distraction that no tears were shed.
