We have these really wonderful, generous, fun neighbors that moved in across the street from us about a year ago. The SFam. We quickly became "those" neighbors that walk across the street to chat and see what's been going on, arrange weekly play dates for our kids, and pass homemade bakery items back and forth.
Of course my kids totally dig their kids. Their youngest, let's call her Shortcake, is almost 2 years old. The oldest, C.Bear, is almost 4. And ... they're expecting their third child in the Spring!
Being the generous neighbors that they are, the SFam offered to bring us a homecooked meal. With all that's been going on, I don't think I could have said "Yes" fast enough! So last night they brought us a pot of chicken and dumplings, ceasar salad, and orange slices. It was fabulous not to have to cook, and the dumplings, which I've actually never had before, were Y-U-M-M-Y!
Ok, now who's jealous their neighbors aren't as cool as ours?!!!
