That last one is an especially foreign concept, but I'm pretty sure that's what I was!
I couldn't have been more certain that Bub had gained weight. Usually I have a feeling one way or another, but at least 50% of the time I'm wrong. So either I'm in denial that he lost when I thought he gained, or I'm in disbelief that he gained when I thought he lost.
But this time everything was different, including the ....

Oh Bub, I'm so happy for you. You're gaining strength and confidence in your eating every day. I will probably never stop worrying (one of the many quirks about being a parent), but sometime soon maybe I can start worrying a little less.
