The B Family came to visit this past weekend and I finally got to meet precious baby H. She is crazy adorable and insanely sweet. When I wasn't stealing hugs and kisses from her, it was wonderful to catch up with my bestie from college.
We started off a whirlwind weekend by getting stuck in traffic with a 14 month old that was cranky, tired, and hadn't eaten anything other than snacks in over 10 hours. After trying every shortcut possible, baby H (or her parents) wasn't going to make it any farther without something to eat, so we made a pit stop at Mickey D's (and before you get all judgmental on me, we were desperate and it was the closest thing we could find). We celebrated Mother's Day at my parents house, went to the park, went to the zoo, went back to the park (even in the rain), and spent as much time as possible watching our kids get to know each other. Trying to coordinate three toddlers under the age of three, one of whom was on east coast time, was quite the adventure!
Many thanks to the B Family for making the trip to come see us, and to Karen for being on picture duty ....

I am not sure how I just saw this post. Laughed about McDonald's because I won't eat at Mcdonald's normally. We were desperate. We had a great time.
