The Quads

You've heard me talk about them, and here they are ...

What started off as a singleton is now ... quadruplets!  That's what I call a medical miracle!

From left to right, their names are: Doggy Carly, Doggy Raleigh, Doggy Abby, and Doggy Abby.

And no, you didn't ready that wrong, the last two doggies do indeed have the same name.  I've tried asking her why, but she just looks at me as if to say, "Because they do, Mom."

There's actually a fifth doggy that's not pictured.  Her name is Wendy (not Doggy Wendy, just Wendy) and she's yellow with a purple spot over her right eye and purple ears.  She is the newest (and hopefully last!) member of the group.  In addition to her doggies, Fin also sleeps with three pink L.ittle G.iraffe blankets (two small and one large).

Bub's crib is even more crowded.  He sleeps with: Elmo, moo-cow, Hopper, Curious George, a small and a large blue T.aggies blanket, and three brown L.ittle G.iraffe blankets (two small and one large, just like Sis).  He trades off using one of the large blankets as a pillow (tonight it was the brown one).

I remember when the kids were about six months old and I was so concerned because neither of them had a "lovey".  We had tried introducing several different things (blankies, stuffed animals), but nothing seemed to work.

I'm thinking they eventually found something to cuddle with!
