Last night was definitely better, but still plenty of room for improvement.
Fin went happily into her crib at 8:05 and was asleep (with dh in the room) by 8:50. She cried for a few minutes around 4:00 but went back to sleep on her own and slept until 7:40. That's two and a half hours longer than she slept in yesterday!
Bub had a hard time getting to sleep. He didn't try escaping, but he did everything he could think of to stay awake. I finally left his room at 9:25. I knew he wasn't fully asleep but I was hoping he was tired enough I could just slip out. I barely made it outside his door before he started wailing. I knew I couldn't go back in, but hearing him cry and call my name felt like torture. It was only a couple minutes before he calmed down, and I'm happy to say he wasn't even mad at me the next morning. He also slept through the night!
Third night's a charm???
