When I started this post, I had every intention of coming up with ten things I wanted to do, or not do, or change for the new year.
But instead, I'm going to write about just one. A single resolution for the new year.
Can't be that hard, right?
Well, I guess that depends.
Most kids are already doing it. And if they aren't, their parents are probably feeling just as guilty as we are.
My new year's resolution is ....
For my sweet daughter to FINALLY sleep through the night.
I know what you're thinking, she's still getting up at night. Sadly, yes.
Not to worry though, I have a plan and it actually started last night. Let's just say there will be less sleep in the short term, but more sleep (hopefully much, much more) in the weeks to come. And if (er, I mean "when") it works, I promise to divulge everything, all the ugly details.
Wish us luck!
